Amporn’s Thai Kitchen started from having a Thai cooking blog to teach myself at home. I started with some easy dishes at first, and then I learned more and more. Most of the time I used the Internet to help with the food I grew up eating in Thailand. While it is hard to find all the Thai ingredients I need, I can adapt the recipes to use local ingredients while I still maintain the authentic Thai taste. I enjoy the opportunity to cook for friends and family all the time. I think it is very important to share my life with people, especially Thai food.

About Amporn's Husband
David Oleski is a still-life painter, building an ongoing legacy of discipline and commitment in his work. Following in the footsteps of the 19th century Impressionists, he explores increasingly fragmented views of simple still lifes. He captures a sense of rhythm and atmosphere with sophisticated colors, and thick and deliberate brushwork.
David and Amporn travel to various major cities throughout the spring, summer and fall to show his work at a number of outdoor art exhibitions. When he is not on the road, he serves on the board of directors of the Rittenhouse Square Fine Arts Association. He was featured in author Catherine Quillman’s book “100 Artists of the Brandywine Valley,” and most recently he created and directed the Amagansett Fine Arts Festival for its inaugural year in July of 2011 in Amagansett, New York.
